Gulistan-E-Urdu is an international, peer-reviewed Urdu research journal published quarterly since 2026. The journal aims to promote high-quality research in Urdu language and literature and provide a platform for researchers and scholars to share their original scholarly work. The language of the journal is Urdu. Researchers and scholars are invited to submit their original research papers for consideration. Before submitting a manuscript, authors are requested to read the Instructions to Authors carefully and ensure that their submissions comply with the journal’s rules and requirements.

Publication Fee and Editorial Policy: Gulistan-E-Urdu charges a publication fee of INR 1,000 per accepted paper. The fee is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication and before it is published. No fee is charged at the time of submission or while a manuscript is under review.

If a manuscript is rejected at any stage of the editorial screening or review process, no publication fee will be charged. Payment of the publication fee does not guarantee acceptance or influence the review process or editorial decision. All manuscripts are evaluated on the basis of their academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and the outcome of the review process. These policies apply equally to all authors.

The publication fee is used to meet the expenses of maintaining the journal’s website and managing its online publication activities. The journal operates independently and does not receive financial support or publishing sponsorship from any individual, government body, non-governmental organisation, university, association, or other external institution. No payment can be demanded as a condition for obtaining a favourable review or editorial decision.
